America’s LGBT Holiday Festival starts the month and Provincetown’s First Light celebration closes 2025 and welcomes in a new year with fireworks.
December 5 – 7 – Holly Folly Kickoff Weekend
The LGBT and friends Holiday Festival is a fun-filled weekend of holiday cheer and celebration. Highlights include the Jingle Bell Run and Champagne Brunch, Drag Bingo, and a special Holiday Concert at Town Hall plus much, much more. Take advantage of the 100 or so unique shops in Ptown for your holiday gift shopping. Guests at Aerie House will be able to enjoy Steve’s sinful eggnog made from scratch on Saturday afternoon as they take a break from the festivities on Commercial Street.
December 19-21 – Holly Folly Extended Weekend
New this year, Holly Folly events have been extended through the month.
December 26- January 1 – First Light Provincetown New Year’s Week
The town-wide celebration to the end of 2025 and the welcoming of 2026. All sorts of fun and entertainment including a Polar Bear Plunge, great dining and bar parties for your end of the year celebration and highlighted by a great fireworks show over the harbor at dusk on New Year’s Eve.
